Leslie Delaney, LMHC, NCC

Licensed Counselor

Leslie is a licensed mental health counselor and national certified counselor in Florida specializing in treating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, OCD, and trauma. Her approach is based on Person-Centered Therapy, and she has been trained in and uses various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), and other exposure therapies.

 

Leslie received a Masters in Professional Clinical Counseling from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA and a Masters in Medical Ethics from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. She has previously worked in various levels of care (inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient) and in a wide range of settings, including in community mental health, children's outpatient service, an eating disorder residential facility, and an inpatient facility. She has extensive history working with children, adolescents, and adults.

 

Leslie now offers online therapy in English and Spanish in Florida.

Melonie Hernandez, RCSWI, MS

Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern

Melonie is a passionate social worker specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and substance use disorders, as well as anxiety and depression. With a compassionate and client-centered approach, Melonie empowers individuals to work towards healing past traumas, facing current challenges, and achieving lasting recovery. Her approach is that therapy should be a place where you can come as your full, whole self, without judgment but with a challenging, encouraging voice that reminds you of your ability to create change for yourself and your future. 

 

Drawing from experience in residential settings, Melonie has facilitated individual, group, and family therapy sessions while utilizing evidence-based interventions to address each client’s unique needs. Melonie is deeply committed to continuous learning and remaining informed of the latest developments in mental health care. This dedication ensures the provision of the most effective and up-to-date therapeutic interventions. 

 

Outside of the therapeutic setting, Melonie enjoys the simple pleasures of a good book, a beautiful view of nature, and a warm cup of tea. She finds joy in her curiosity and seeks to learn and understand things that are new or different. Growing up in a Hispanic household herself, Melonie understands and respects the importance of an individual’s culture and heritage and its influence on identity. Most nights you will find her making and enjoying new comforting meal from her culture.
